Getting to this a little late, but it might still be of interest, if only because our McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks is endorsing someone for Federal office.
On the other hand, the last time Franks endorsed someone for Federal officer, the candidate–Hillary Clinton–got trounced by Bernie Sanders.
In any event, Franks is endorsing Sean Casten to be the Democratic Party nominee for U.S. Congress to run against incumbent Republican Peter Rosham.
The evidence is below:

This is what Casten said about President Trump and Representative Roskam last September in a news release:
“They are putting millions of people’s lives and health at risk with their assault on the health-care system. They are putting women’s health at risk. They are putting seniors at risk with their assaults on Social Security and Medicare; the list goes on and on and on.”
How absurd of a statement. Casten is either unaware or is hiding the fact that President Obama and the Democrat Party, through their Affordable Care Act, cut Medicare benefits by $716 Billion in order to fund that Act commonly known as Obamacare. It is the Democrats who are not friendly to seniors and their needs. One of their top people, an advisor to President Obama, named Robert Reich said in a speech about health care:
“And by the way, we are going to have to–if you’re very old, we’re not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. It’s too expensive, so we’re going to let you die.”

And to correct the article above, Jacko Franks ditched early support for Obongo, and went with Witch Hillary in 2008, which cost Lying Jack a federal judgeship (like we need more Jewish, ultra-liberal federal judges). Boo Hoo, Jacko!

I had the pleasure of meeting Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL 6th District) briefly a few months ago. I was very impressed.
I would go as far as to say that I rest a little easier at night knowing we have someone of his intelligence and character in Congress.
It would be a big mistake not to send him back.
This, of course, explains why Jack Franks is trying to defeat him.
If Franks wants Roskam out, that speaks volumes in Roskam’s favor beyond anything I could say.

Well dentbla, you missed my part of the comment about the Obama Administration diverting $716 Billion from Medicare to help pay for Obamacare. Part of the effects of this is lowering the dollar amount payments to medical providers for seniors on Medicare. Democrats like to brag that they care about seniors but that is just a grand lie.

The Democrats have not had a decent candidate to run against Roskam since 2006. That was the first year he ran for Representative in the US House and he beat Tammy Duckworth by slim margin of 51 to 49 percent. Since then, it has been smooth sailing for him because voters know his very good record. After 2006, he has beat Democrats as follows:
