Bob Miller Favors Son-in-Law Derek Lee with $5,000 More in “Miscellaneous” Algonquin Township Road District Income Than His Other Son-in-Law

The employee who got the highest amount since 2013 of what is labeled as “misc” income on Algonquin Township Road District payroll records was Highway Commissioner Bob Miller’s wife and administrative assistant Anna May Miller.

Anna May Miller

Anna May Miller received $31,146 over four-plus years in unexplained payments from the beginning of 2013 until her husband’s term ran out as a result of losing a close February, 2017, GOP Primary Election race to McHenry County Board member Andrew Gasser.

Anna May Miller Took Home $31,146 in “Misc” Income Since 2013.

Son-in-law Andrew Rosencrans pulled in $24,235 during the same period.

But that was about $5,000 less than the Miller’s other son-in-law Derek Lee, who was paid $30,355

Derek Lee

As with all three Miller family members, Lee’s largess peaked right before Christmas.

Unlike his brother-in-law Rosencrans, Lee received sizable payments during the summer and his near-Christmas were considerable larger.

Lee is married to attorney Rebecca Lee.

  1. This was from the first post on Misc Pay: “Asked if he had had any idea what the payments were for, new Road Commissioner Andrew Gasser said, “No.””
Yet when I talked to the SA Chief Investigator yesterday, she knew almost exactly what it was used for.
    Andrew intentionally ignorant or lying?

  2. I’m sure the SA is really going to tell the Nob important information!! Please….find a hobby.

  3. The SA Chief Investigator said the practice of using Misc Pay instead of pay increases was legal and come place, so is this issue really important?
    No!
We also briefly discussed the bidding out process of equipment, Sandra Salgado’s clothing allowance, and the new Pink truck on it’s way to Alg Twh.
Having the records from other townships and talking to municipal PW directors, the Chief Investigator was well informed.

  4. Sure you did Nob…….yeah misc pay is no big deal.

    $100 here $500 here $1500 here.

    Yeah…..that’s no big deal!

  5. Joe S? You are talking to an idiot. You will get no sense from him.

  6. Well Joe the alternative could of been pay raises that compound and end up costing more in the long run.
You know like Cal’s next year $101k pension.

  7. In the Private Sector it’s called embezzlement, the Public calls it miscellaneous income.

  8. Joe when you talk to the big PW guru you have to understand that he has an answer for every abuse perpetrated by the Miller gang ( which includes him.).

What he means is we should be thanking Miller for finding ways to pay his gang members extra outside of their ridiculous salaries.

Miller and his kind were such “public servants.”

We can only hope the States Attorney’s office can give them the reward they deserve.

  9. Well put the correct numbers here and I’ll correct it in the future.
    No problems.

  10. the nob is a township fob, is it Gooch? Is it it Booby Miller?

who cares, it’s a loser either way!

  11. Funny thing about the Miller Crime Family ….. some of the the people have been married 3 times, but they still have the same in-laws!

  12. Speaking of ‘math skills’ it’s not $5,000 more, it’s $6,120 more than the other son-in-law.
But who’s counting? Certainly not Alg Township plants and Miller’s minions!

  13. Wow nob is truly stupid. What the Hell does any of that have to do with the price of eggs and butter in China?
I cannot wait until all the crooks are erased from history. Really getting tired of the communists and their filthy lying agendas. They could never get past their “I know you are, but what am I” days of kindergarten in any kind of a discussion. They never make any sense but like to accuse and point their fingers. Go away, and let the real people take over and save your sorry asses.

  14. Gadfly stay with the program we’re in IL, Cal made a statement, I answered.
So you’re saying Cal is a Commie?

  15. Simple fact is all the misc pay was reported and taxed.
We’ve all seen the totals for wages before, multiple times on who got paid what.
This is just more rock throwing to get the crowd whining again.
“They never make any sense but like to accuse and point their fingers. Go away, and let the real people take over and save your sorry asses.”

  16. I reported that the miscellaneous income payments were taxed in my first article.

  17. Yes you did, very fair and balanced.
SA has all the facts, what’s the point of beating on the Millers, what can be gained at this point doing so?
How about wait on the results of the investigation, then on with the rock throwing?
    Don’t wear yourself out.

  18. 4:01 pm. the nob is so busy tap dancing for his sugar daddy that he doesn’t have a clue what’s happening on the federal government scene.

  19. I’ve talked to the SA people, and I have gotten the drift most of the info posted here is nonsense.
If there is more the SA or FBI has that you know of share it here and now.
I’m all for a open and frank discussion of the facts.
Save the exaggerated fake news, there have been tons of that here already.

  20. So Nobs in with the SA? Only only blowing smoke up everyone’s rear is you Nob.

  21. Tell us what the $3,000 payments in late Oct, Nov and December were for, please.

  22. Not sure, the SA Chief Inspector didn’t say.
I did hear the words pay differential being legal during our broader discussion.
If we talk again, I’ll ask and let you know.

  23. Since when does the SA discuss and ongoing investigation with anyone?

OK nob, why don’t you use your real name?

Are you one of the cronies being investigated?
