Congressman Randy Hultgren on Billy Graham’s Death

A press release from Congressman Randy Hultgren:

Hultgren Statement on Passing of Billy Graham

Washington, DC — U.S. Representative Randy Hultgren (IL-14) released a statement following the passing of pastor and evangelist Billy Graham:

“Reverend Billy Graham was a lion of the faith and a believer in the all-encompassing love of God for all people.

“He attended Wheaton College, just down the street from where I grew up, and was a founding figure in evangelical Christianity.

“He spanned generations of American religious thought and culture, but his core message remained unchanged throughout his ministry.

“His evangelistic gatherings attracted millions throughout the decades, and his name is known around the world through his books and addresses on radio and TV.

“It was his humility amid fame and kind treatment of everyone, no matter who they were or their social status, that demonstrated his spirit of deep love and compassion.

“The world will greatly miss Rev. Graham but Heaven will open its arms as he enters eternity.

“I wish comfort and peace to his family.”

  1. How emblematic of conservative Christians! They need lions of the faith. I think I read somewhere Jesus of Nazareth was referred as the “Lamb of God.” May the Lion God be with you, and with your spirit…tic, tock, tic, tock…

  2. I think the fact that God has been taken out of schools is a big part of the problem.

  3. Yes, no statement on the 17 killed in FL? Although I’m sure he sent “thoughts and prayers”.

  4. Farris Squire, please tell me when God was in schools. I am 61 and I don’t ever recall God being in school. So clearly you must be talking prior to 1961. What year?

  5. OK Lavona, Leeeeeery and denbla, where is / was your concern about William Dennis McCann, Kate Steinle and literally thousands like them?

  6. Cindy… You think the Florida shooting was a hoax!!? You truly are a nutcase!

  7. Very nice words from Randy Hultgren on the passing of Billy Graham.

Randy Hultgren has defeated his Democratic opponents from his first run for U.S. Representative in 2010 through the election of 2016. He has easily beat his opponents.

In 2010 he beat his opponent, Bill Foster by 51% to 45%. In 2012, he won 59% of the vote by beating Dennis Anderson. In 2014, he again beat Dennis Anderson by even a greater margin getting 65% of the vote. In 2016, he beat Democrat opponent Jim Walz by getting 59% of the vote.

  8. Prarie Burner? I know that the Florida shooting was a hoax perpetrated by the deep state (that would be Oblahblah’s army). There are armies of foreigners that are used to do these false flags. I happen to think that YOU are the nutcase. You have no idea what is really going on and you are going to be sorry you didn’t open your mind and use critical thinking. Hope it just isn’t too late!

  9. “I know that the Florida shooting was a hoax perpetrated by the deep state.” Nuff said…tic, tock, tic, tock, cuckoo, cuckoo, tic, tock, meow, meow…
