A GOP Precinct Letter from Harvard

William Matteson, a Republican Precinct Committeeman from Harvard, sent the following letter to his neighbors:

Good grief it’s that time of the year again early voting has started on February 8th and March 5th at various voting Locations… the Primary will be on March 20th…

So with that in mind I would like to call to your attention a list of candidates recommended by your local Republican committee….

  • Governor ………….Jeanne Ives / Rich Morthland…..
  • Attorney General……………………. Erkia Harold
  • Circuit court Judge….. Demetri Pete Tsilimigras
  • 22 Sub circuit Judge…………………… Joel Berg
  • County Clerk………………………………..Joe Tirio
  • County Board 6th District………..Ersel Schuster
  • County Board 6th district……….Orville Brettman

Ersel and Orville Known Rino fighters are much needed on the county board in order to fight the Madigan /Cook County Machine, infiltration that has been happening …

and me William Matteson for Precinct Committeeman

even though I am the only candidate I still need your vote

Also on the ballot is a proposal to combine the Recorders office with the County clerks office this was the primary goal of Joe Tirio…82 out of 102 Illinois counties already have this in place and Joe Tirio will bring McHenry county up to speed.

I also enclosed a sample ballot in which I requested a no vote on extending the Library bond which will be paid off next year….

More latter this week on the reaction to his suggesting people vote against the Harvard Library tax hike.

  1. Glad to see William advocating a NO vote on the referendum to make permanent the tax increase which was approved previously to pay off a bond.

It is irresponsible for City officials to attempt to make permanent a tax which the voters were told would be temporary! Kinda like the tollway!

If this tax increase is approved it will likely be used to fund the burgeoning City Pension debts!!!!

As William states: PLEASE VOTE NO!

  2. Captain Obvious, Rauner is lying to you.

His commercials are her words but all taken out of context! Any elected official who lies about their opponent or anything else for that matter, should never be re-elected.

  3. I’m curious. What is the recommendation for county blogger? My vote goes to our sunshine blogger, no question about that. I’m just asking…tic, tock, meow, meow, tic, tock…

  4. I wonder how long Demitri has been Pete?

Or how long he has lived in Lake County?

This recommendation is for McHenry County? Right?

  5. Captain Obvious – You are spreading a lie.

Should I ban you for doing so or suggest you apply to Bruce Rauner for a job?
