There will be a contest for McHenry County Repyublicanb Central Committee Chairman on Wednesday night at the McHenry VFW at 7 PM.

Current Republican Party Secretary Diane Evertsen is being challenged by Nunda Township Precinct Committeeman Mark Daniel.

Daniel faced off unsuccessfully against McHenry Township’s Sandra Salgado four years ago.

The vote was 12,153 to 8,703.
