Casten “As Far Left As They Come” on Abortion

Sean Casten

Peter Roskam

That is the way 6th District Democratic Party congressional candidate Sean Casten, supported in the Primary Election by McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks, described his position to ABC Channel 7 Eyewitness News on Easter Sunday.

What does that mean?

It means that a mother could abort her child right up until the time of natural birth

Casten and his suroskam pporters, of course, will ever frame his position in those terms, but incumbent Republican Peter Roskam.

Not being bold enough on hte abortion issue resulted in Joe Wslsh’s being on the radio, rather than in Congress.

Joe Walsh could have done the same when he was challenged.by Tammy Duckworth.

He did not and he lost.

Bill Brady was not elected Governor because he did not fight back on the borition issue.

Only time will tell if Roskam has been captured by the Beltway consultants, as I believe Walsh was.

Their advice is basically to ignore the issue in public advertising, to limit paling about abortion except to those who have been identified as Pro-Life.

Bill Brady did that as Personal PAC pummeled him on TV from early August through the election.

That strategy got us Pat Quinn as Governor for an additional four years..

  1. Oh, please, please, please convince more Republicans to run on being anti-abortion. It plays SO well in the suburbs and statewide.

  2. Running against Roe v Wade and having no limits plays SO well in McHenry County.

  3. Interesting how disingenuous are Democrats. They are mostly against capital punishment for murderers but are pro-death for innocent babies in the womb. The Democrat party is pro-death for babies, support and encourage illegal aliens, want open borders for the U.S. and want higher confiscatory taxes to redistribute wealth and assets of American citizens.

  4. Good try at deflection again. Is is the compassionate conservative, family values, pro-lifers who need to make up their minds between supporting the lives of our born human beings across this country and worship to guns. We know these republicans too well; not fooling anybody here. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, meow, meeeoooowwwww…

  5. Roe v Wade will be almost completely gutted in 2019, after Kennedy retires and is replaced by a conservative Justice.

  6. Sure, a slim 51 member majority including a ton of moderate Republicans like Collins and Murkowski are going to approve of a judicial nominee who wants to gut Roe V Wade…
Also, this is Illinois. We have a governor who supported taxpayer funded abortion. Get a grip mate.

  7. Bred hits the nail on the head, most politics are piles of shit. Either they want to kill the babies and save the murderers or they want to save the babies and kill everyone else. Makes no sense. But then he slides off the table and adds aliens and redistribution of wealth because clarity needs a rest every once in awhile.
