160 Attend Sheriff Bill Prim Fundraiser

In a fundraiser that had more attendees than for any Republican event I have attended, McHenry County Sheriff Bill Prim demonstrated broad support.

There were countywide elected officials.

State’s Attorney Patrick Kenneally, Circuit Court Clerk Kathy Keefe and Recorder of Deeds Joe Tirio, who is running for County Clerk.

Only one member of the County Board, John Reinert was in attendance.

However, the County Board had a meeting that overlapped the Prim’s fundraiser.

There were numerous members of local police forces and one of the police chiefs in attendance introduced the Sheriff.

Algonquin Township was represented by Supervisor Chuck Lutzow and Trustee Rachael Lawrence.

In addition, a number of attorneys, including Judges Robert Wilbrandt and David Gervais were there.

This is the first political event at which I have seen calamari served.

In addition, there were noodles with white sauce, meatballs and tomato bruschetta.

The event was held at Cucina Bella in Downtown Algonquin.
