A press release from the Huntley Police Department:
On May 29, 2018, the Huntley Police Department arrested Sean Johnson on an arrest warrant for burglary, theft, and aggravated battery.
The arrest was from an incident that occurred on April 6, 2018, around 3 pm, in the Cosman Center parking lot.
The victim in the case reported that as he was leaving the Cosman Center, and noticed Johnson going through the back of his work van.
As the victim attempted to approach Johnson, he was struck by Johnson’s vehicle as it fled the parking lot.
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
It was later discovered that a construction tool valued at $10,000 was stolen from the victim’s vehicle.
The item belonged to Heels and Hardhats Contracting out of Byron, IL.
After an extensive investigation, Sean Johnson was taken into custody on May 29, 2018 by Huntley Police Detectives, with the assistance of the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Sean Johnson was unable to post bond and was transported to the McHenry County Jail.

Johnson was on parole for retail theft and residential burglary.
