Huntley Police participate in “Tip a Cop” for Special Olympics Illinois

On Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Culver’s of Huntley, 12950 Illinois Route 47, members of the Huntley Police Department will serve as waiters in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Illinois Special Olympics.

For the fifteenth year in a row Culver’s will host “Tip a Cop,” in an effort to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Illinois.

During “Tip a Cop” members of the Huntley Police Department and Special Olympic Athletes will serve as waiters and accept donations for Special Olympics. Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise (hat, shirts and pins) will also be available during this event.

Special Olympics Illinois supports nearly 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 20,000 young athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities from communities throughout the state, including Huntley.
