Sheriff’s Department Nabs 21-Year Old Woodstock BB Gun Robber

Aggravated Robbery Arrest

Jacob Hawley

Jacob Hawley, 21, of Woodstock, was arrested Friday and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Residential Burglary after an incident that occurred in the 13000 block of South Street Road in unincorporated Woodstock.

On Friday morning, a McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Supervisor was flagged down by a 55-year-old Woodstock man who stated that he had just been robbed at gunpoint by Hawley.

Hawley was located shortly thereafter and taken into custody.

Deputies located a black bb handgun, along with the stolen property, on Hawley at the time he was taken into custody.

The City of Woodstock Police assisted with the investigation.

Arrested: Jacob Hawley, Male, 21, Woodstock, Illinois

Charges:

  • Aggravated Robbery (class 1)
  • Residential Burglary (class 1)

Bond: To be Set, Next Court Date: July 7, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.

The charges against this individual are merely allegations against him. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

  1. Liberal run Woodstock is going to the dogs at record speed, thanks to Brian Sager.

  2. If you ever leave McHenry County and travel toward Southern Illinois you will find that the rest of The state despises all of Chicagoland.

    I think most would rather have a completely separate state and leave Cook and the collar counties to the brainwashed crazies who live there.

    The politicians have the residents up north convinced they have it all when in reality they have incredibly high taxes, high crime and at best average schools.

    Time to pull your heads out of you know where.
