Seeking Information – Fatal Hit and Run

The Woodstock Police Department continues to seek information regarding a vehicle in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that happened on Thursday, March 30th, 2017.

Route 14 and Lake Shore Drive in Woodstock.

Daniel P. Anderson, 43, of Woodstock, was killed after being struck by this vehicle on Route 14 near Lake Shore Drive around 9:48 p.m.

The vehicle didn’t stop after the incident and continued west on Route 14 towards Route 47.

The Woodstock Police Department is looking for a small red car, unknown make and model, in
connection with the incident.

We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this vehicle.

The attached pictures are the only photos available of the vehicle.

  1. A little light on details – what damage did the H&R vehicle sustain ?

    If the Woodstock PD wants the public’s help they need to give us something to go on.

  3. I was just apprised of the news that my maternal grandmother was killed by a hit and run in 1936. Never found that driver either.

  4. God, how sad this is. Praying for Daniel P. Anderson, 43, of Woodstock and his family.

  5. Maybe they should start arresting illegals w/o licenses or insurance.

    If it isn’t too much trouble and won’t cut into their LGBTQ party scene.
