The Daily Herald featured a chorus of boos from supporters of Congressman Randy Hultgren’s opponent when he asked the question,
“Are you better off now than you were four years ago?”
I was talking crowd photos at the moment and didn’t get notes on it.
(To read the most comprehensive account of what happened that night, check out my article, which also has links to the Daily and Northwest Herald articles at its conclusion.)
In any event, the article was not timely.
So, why did the Sun-Times run it?
My guess is the reason is because the paper is now owned by labor unions.
Those unions, of course, don’t want suburban Republican congressman re-elected.
They want Nancy Pelosi to be election United State House Speaker again.
