I’m going through a stack of paper from almost a year ago with information that I wanted to share with you and found the McHenry County Conservation District’s quarterly magazine “Landscapes.”

But back to what I want to share.
Here is Executive Director Elizabeth Kissler’s summary of the district’s financial situation as of about a year ago:

Point taken.
It’s an unnecessary publication to say the least.
Just like the rotten township newsletters.
It certainly ain’t free, taxpayers fund it.
And the more land taken in by this dubious agency means more land off the tax rolls and higher taxes for the remaining taxpayer saps who persist in McHenry Co.
