No Support Found for Jack Franks’ Inspector General Power Grab

Shannon Teresi

Jack Franks

Yesterday I sent an email to all McHenry County Board members asking if they supported Jack franks proposal to create an Inspector General.

As you know, if you read this article entitled, “County Auditor Shannon Teresi Attacks Jack Franks’ Inspector General Proposal as Duplicative, Waste of Taxpayers Money,” the County Auditor believes it would duplicate what she is supposed, by state law, to do.

So far, none have replied that they favor the idea.

(Chuck Wheeler did send an email saying, “No.”)

One County Board member did tell me, “It’s DOA.”

  1. It would be for HIM to AVOID OVERSIGHT.

No way is hiring another cronie hire with a pension is fair to the taxpayers when we have 3 elected offices that give oversight to elected officials.

The whistle blowers law is born and resides in the Audiotrs office.

Franks is trying to get around that.

What’s he got up his sleeve?

Knowing him it’s not good for the taxpayers or the workings of the county.
