  1. So much for the DEMOCRAT myths of “civility” and “co-existing”.

A more vile, disgusting and duplicitous group of people you will never meet,
    it’s in their DNA.

  2. Just like Joe Walsh, she will lose.

    Hey, Joe Walsh!

Can’t wait for you to tease us about a 2020 Senate run, just for you to flake out at the very end, and, in the process, deter decent Republicans from running!

What a treasure Joe Walsh is!

What have you been up to lately, Joe Walsh?

    Talking smack about the president?

Not endorsing candidates like Jeanne Ives because you’re mad that she called you out on Twitter years ago?

    Wow.

What an invaluable guy we’ve got here!

I can’t imagine an Illinois without Joe Walsh.

    The thought is unbearable!

Remember to type hashtag thankyoublue. Joe Walsh told me to do it, so it must be good!

  3. And in typical aggressive Democrat form, they’re sticking signs in without permission. It’s rather obvious to a politico what they’re doing.

Hultgren signs can be picked up Saturday’s til 2pm at Republican Headquarters in Crystal Lake. (not sure when they open)

  4. If some jerk walked into my place of business and just started taking pictures, I would ask them to leave as well.

  5. Hey! Nothing jerky about my sunshine blogger. More respect for the soon-to-be-in-Mt.-Rushmore illustrious blogger. Stey tuned…17 days…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock…

  6. Just checked Wikipedia and it turns out Congress is a Public Position, actually chosen by the Public.

  7. A little Black nurse gonna defeat a White Privilege scion, and some idiots can’t handle the Truth.

    Go Girl Go!

  8. As a friend of this sunshine blog, I have the distinguished privilege of sharing this news with all illustrious sunshine commenters and millions of readers. The northwest herald rag just endorsed Sean Casten in the 6th district race. In other news, the great newspaper and journalistic institution the Northwest Herald just endorsed our wonderful US Congressman Randy Hultgren in the 14th district congressional race. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeoooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww…

  9. Seems to me the dimwitted Democrat UnderwoodNow is a racist women/man.

History tells us the Democrat party was all for slavery.

That is truth telling you moron UnderwoodNow*

The Democratic Party was formed in 1792, when supporters of Thomas Jefferson began using the name Republicans, or Jeffersonian Republicans, to emphasize its anti-aristocratic policies.

It adopted its present name during the Presidency of Andrew Jackson in the 1830s.

In the 1840s and ’50s, the party was in conflict over extending slavery to the Western territories.

Southern Democrats insisted on protecting slavery in all the territories while many Northern Democrats resisted.

The party split over the slavery issue in 1860 at its Presidential convention in Charleston, South Carolina.

Northern Democrats nominated Stephen Douglas as their candidate, and Southern Democrats adopted a pro-slavery platform and nominated John C. Breckinridge in an election campaign that would be won by Abraham Lincoln and the newly formed Republican Party.

After the Civil War, most white Southerners opposed Radical Reconstruction and the Republican Party’s support of black civil and political rights. Jackson

The Democratic Party identified itself as the “white man’s party” and demonized the Republican Party as being “Negro dominated.”

  10. The Democratic Party has a very terrible history with regard to slavery.

They fought Republican President Abraham Lincoln’s efforts to free the slaves.

  11. @Paul Revere and bred winner

You must remember that times change.

Check out this article from 2009 where little Chuckie Schumer is railing against illegal immigration. If they (Democrats) do it, it’s just peachy.

Not so much if the Republicans call for it.

    What changed in a decade?

Not a damn thing, the Democrats are still hypocrites (just like some Republicans we know)

  12. Oh, good god. Are folks really now making the “pro-slavery” Democrat’s argument?

Learn your history. Learn how the parties have changed.

  13. My dear compassionate conservative republikkklans: keep entertaining us with a good, old fashioned display of projection. Got tolerance? Stay tuned…17 days…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  14. Alabamashaky, if Ms.Underwood is elected she will be a slave to her masters, Madigan/Pelosi.

    This is etched in stone.

She has nearly 2x the $$ in her war chest as Hultgren.

That $$ just doesn’t fall off trees.

  15. Fast forward from Abraham Lincoln’s era to the 1960’s in the U.S. Congress. The Democratic Party still was lagging behind Republicans with regard to the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

“The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub.L. 88–352, 78 Stat. 241, enacted July 2, 1964) is a landmark civil rights and US labor law in the United States[5] that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.[6] It prohibits unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation in schools, employment, and public accommodations.”

In the voting for this Act, Republicans in both the House and the Senate supported this act by a significantly higher margin than the Democrats. One of the opponents of the Act who voted NO was Al Gore’s father who was a U.S. Senator.

So much for the so-called Democratic Party being the champion of civil rights, Black Americans and other minorities.

  16. Paul – please do tell what connection Underwood has to Madigan. Please use details and facts.

Also – you use the word slave. I don’t think that word means what you think it means.

But… lets continue using your logic.

Will Hulgren be a “slave” to Paul Ryan and the next group of GOP House leadership?

  17. More garbage from the unlimited garbage chest of our political science and sociology professor. This is the same “expert wannabe” who constantly laments the fact that the Democratic Party is not what it used to be citing historical context of John F. Kennedy and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, among others; then turns and argues that the Democratic Party today is what always used to be with the pro-slavery punchline. Too bad for this Fox News brainwashed that we know them too well. AlabamaShake wins this one via knockout. Stay tuned…16 days…hear the whisper…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meow, meow, meeeeeeeeeoooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww…
