  1. Congratulations for achieving the bare minimum yet again.

A drug induced homicide, a class X felony with a sentence between 6-30 years in prison, was dismissed for a charge much less than this kid deserved.

I thought Patrick Kenneally ran a campaign on being tough on drug crimes, or any crimes for that matter.

If you read the paper and see the sentences the criminals in this County are getting, I’d call it under achieving.

  2. This kids gonna be the belle of the ball.

Looking so effeminate as he does his dance card will be full in prison.

  3. I agree that it is likely he will be raped in prison.

I don’t think that is anything to joke about, however.

It is a commentary about how poorly our Illinois prisons are run.

Serving on the 1990’s Prison Reform Committee in the 1990’s under my recently departed seatmate Tom Johnson, the Department of Corrections estimated that it would take $12 million to cover with cameras all of the stairwells and other places such sexual assaults occur.

That was one of Governor George Ryan’s lean years unfortunately.

  4. Black and Latino prisoners rape White prisoners on a routine basis.

    The reverse hardly ever happens.

That’s why it’s cruel and unusual to even put White prisoners in general population penitentiaries.

Cal should remember the little scandal that emerged when even Whites on Illinois’ old death row were sexual playthings of the Black prisoners there.

  5. **That’s why it’s cruel and unusual to even put White prisoners in general population penitentiaries.**

    Oh wow.

You seriously think that only black/brown inmates rape in prison?

Good god, what is wrong with you?

But, even though you probably won’t read it or believe it, some facts for you:

The results of six recent nationwide surveys consistently refute the stereotype: there is no evidence that white prisoners are targeted for sexual abuse.

  6. For what it is worth, when I was in touch by mail, bu phone and in person with prisoners who said they had been raped, I don’t remember any who were not white.

  7. Some day Alabama Shake may find out first hand, and his happy little life will hit a snag.

  8. Sniper and friends – go ahead and believe your racist BS and ignore the actual facts and data. You do you.
