The Chicago Tribune’s story about six of John Gacy’s victims still being unidentified reminds me of the story brought back by a State Rep. who attended his execution.
From the room where he was killed, there was a flight of stairs down to where the hearse was waiting.
I was told the guards tossed him down steps.

Well, Gacy was a Democratic Party precinct captain.
And, according to the link, well off enough to give the Jimmy Carter campaign $5,000.
Ladies,and gentlemen, today’s Republican party!
Actively excusing the multiple felon that is their current president to snigger over the misdeeds of of a Democrat precinct committeeman who’s been dead for thirty years .
You can bet if Gacy was a Republican, you’d all be making excuses for him.

What is it about Democrats in Chicago that produce the likes of Gacy and others who have gone to jail. Such as Rod Blago, Mel Reynolds, Dan Rostenkowski, former govs Dan Walker, Otto Kerner.
Of course there was the community organizer guy who was merely grossly incompetent.
