I left the City of Woodstock and the State of Illinois on December 21st.

My taxes were too high, the threat of taxing my pension was looming, I did not like where Illinois and Woodstock was heading.

Gas tax, bag tax high water costs and TIF’s I watched the current mayor of Woodstock put thousands of our dollars into the square and our roads suck.

Oh but we need a copper roof on the old courthouse!
