  1. These numbers can’t be right. Y’all always tell us how bloated IL governments are!

  2. Relative to public sector pension benefits, the problem is that in IL they CANNOT be reduced while other states are in fact adjusting to the reality that what Illinois is doing cannot be sustained.

    Add that problem to the excessive property tax burden outside of the City of Chicago and you have the reason for the exodus.
