How Local Democrats Spent JB Pritzker’s Money Last Fall

With $34,199.99 being funneled through the Democratic Central Committee of Rock Island County by JB Pritzker, the McHenry County Democratic Central Committee was able to run a $32,032.37 fall campaign and have $11,645.89 left over.

Maybe the committee will use $2,547.13 to repay former Chairman Mike Bissett loans he made to the cause in 2017 and 2018.

During the run-up to the fall election only four people besides Pritzker’s indirect contribution were in amounts large enough quire reporting it by name:

  • John Labaj – $275
  • Wendy Piersall – $89 (under $150, but still reported by; name)

$2,507 was contributed in amounts under $150, so names of contributors were not made public’.

  1. Didn’t Lauren Underwood have an office with a staff on the Square in Woodstock

    …who paid for that?

….some one paid an army of sign planters

    …..who did and how much?

  2. Federal campaign expenditures are not reported to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

They are reported to the Federal Election Commission

  3. **Didn’t Lauren Underwood have an office with a staff on the Square in Woodstock**

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Lauren Underwood’s campaign probably paid for Lauren Underwood’s campaign office.

  4. When you have a federal candidate for office well financed (about $5,000,000) who has ‘handlers’ willing to spend all but about two percent of that amount AND you start your campaign eighteen months prior to election day AND your opponent does not start campaigning until ninety days prior to election day AND your opponent can only raise about fifty cents for every dollar you spend, it should not be difficult to win an election.
