The quote is from a Chicago Tribune story yesterday.
It revealed what was said in depositions from a suit filed by Mike Madigan Democratic Primary Election Jason Gonzales.
The quote again:
“This guy’s trying to destroy your soul.
“He just doesn’t want to defeat you.

The person speaking was Jason Gonzales.
He was talking about Mike Madigan.

I would not bet against Madigan going down.
Burke, too, is smart.
But years of getting away with venality large and small makes criminals sloppy.
