Over the past four years, Jim and Kim have worked very hard to: Stop increases in the village portion of your property taxes, always voting AGAINST tax increases Worked to create a system of fairness for businesses asking for loans and grants by implementing written procedures, versus a system of obtaining grants based on ‘who you know.’ Increase transparency by adding live and archived video of village meetings Promote quality residential developments to safeguard our schools and not allow breeding developers to capitalize on Cary taxpayers Oppose an extension of the gravel mining on the Fox Trails site to ensure the transfer of Cary’s newest park in a timely manner Ensure the Maplewood property would not be high-density housing – there’s so much history and so much potential at this site |
