Man Found Hanged at Rush Creek Conservation Area Near Harvard

Coservation District Police have canvassed homes near the Rush Creek Conservation Area in search of a white man about sixty years of age who was found hanged at the site.

So far, the person has not been identified.

He is said to have been wearing ankle braces on both legs.

McHenry County Conservation District Police is seeking Public Assistance in Identifying a Deceased Male found in Rural Harvard

McHenry County Conservation District Police Department was called to investigate the death of a man found in a remote area of rural Harvard, IL. 

No identification was on the person who was found on May 4, 2019.  McHenry County Conservation District Police Department has been working closely with the McHenry County Coroner’s Office.

At this time they have exhausted all attempts to identify the person and are now seeking the public’s assistance in this ongoing investigation.

He is described as a white male 50-65 years old, 5’10 tall, approximately 225 lbs., with white hair 2” in length.

No scars, marks or tattoos.

He was wearing a black fleece beanie, Blue/Brown “Swiss Tech” coat size XL, grey knit scarf with purple trim, Tan “Carhartt” zip up hoodie, size XL, “George” blue jeans, size 36×32.

He also wore “Active Ankle” black braces on both ankles, and black “Asics” tennis shoes, size 11.
