Chuck Wheeler Selected at Deputy 14th District State Central Committeeman

A press release from the Republican Party:

NEW APPOINTMENT FOR McHENRY COUNTY REPUBLICAN

The McHenry County Republican Party is extremely pleased to announce that our 14th Congressional District State Central Committeeman, Laura Pollastrini, has chosen and appointed Charles (Chuck) Wheeler as her new Deputy.

Further, the Illinois State Central Committee unanimously affirmed his appointment at their May 4th meeting in Springfield.

Ms Pollastrini had previously served in the position of Deputy to former SCC Stanton Bond prior to his passing.

Well-versed in the significance and requirements of both positions, her choice of Chuck Wheeler to fill her former role indicates a strong level of confidence.

“Chuck Wheeler has shown a high level of service to our District, currently serving as a McHenry County Board member and Vice Chairman of the McHenry County Republican Central Committee, and he displays a strong desire to continue to serve our Party.

Having known him since both of us were Young Republicans members, I’m very much looking forward to working with Chuck in this new role,” said Pollastrini.

  1. Congratulations Chuck, and Ms. Pollastrini should be commended for reaching out to McHenry County for her deputy.

BTW, did anyone go to the Precinct Committeeman Day back on May 11 that Ms. Pollastrini was promoting, and State Senators Jim Oberweis and Sue Rezin, along with State Representative Allen Skillicorn, funded? Given those three are either a candidate for Congress (Oberweis) or prospective candidates, I’m sure 14th district congressional race for 2020 was covered.

Think this was held in St. Charles. Did anyone go?

  2. We were all in attendance.

Thank you all for your well wishes.

  3. Sadly, the statement omitted the best qualification of Mr. Wheeler: being a frequent commenter of this glorious McHenry County sunshine blog. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  4. Angel, where have been?

The soda machine downstairs has been broke for weeks.

Be sure to put some of that Topo Chico crap I like when you refill.

  5. Jacko Franks must have put the slug fallen angel back on his payroll!
