The Father is a local Attorney who went to High School in Crystal Lake and has lived here all of his life.
He had connections.

Cooley, was the lawyer for the Mob, who was responsible for fixing cases with the Judges.
All it took was a meeting at some restaurant and the deal was made.
Not only will the people of McHenry County be watching the outcome of these trials, the eyes of the world will be watching.

DALA? I don’t see the connection to the link you posted. How is any of that relevant to Acosta or DCFS? We all know the corruption is so deep that no one will ever see the bottom of it. Bringing up a totally irrelevant case brings nothing to the facts here.
How could Acosta have missed this ?

Likely because that’s how things roll in Mexico and he thought nothing of it !

Let me understand this, Mr. Acosta, with 25 years of DCFS “experience” and others at the DCFS office could not see the danger this child was in?
DCFS claims it is underfunded and yet pays people near and over $100k a year to do what, exactly?
“You have to accept that, regardless of the situation, if you take a child into protective custody and place them in a foster home, you have traumatized them,” Acosta said.
Sad.
This case has everything to do with corruption in McHenry County.
There is no excuse and no reason for what happened.
So, Jack Franks is tied to the Illinois Integrity Fund which went after Michael Rein and as a consequence likely tipped the vote in favor of Carlos Acosta.
Could the conclusion be drawn that Jack Franks is responsible for the election of a County Board member who now appears to have facilitated the death of a child?

Our irresponsible sunshine blogger just got the only thing he wanted: put a political spin on a tragic story. Carlos Acosta is an honorable and decent man. Those of us who know him and his trajectory are very proud of him. Shame on all these irresponsible conservative commenters for using this story to advance a political agenda.

Corruption is no secret in here in Illinois and it is no secret in McHenry County. Most people know that too.

Acosta and the States Attorney.
CASA in Mchenry County is by far the worst division of CASA in Illinois.
They have new leadership because they were and are an unprofessional organization, Just look at who is on their board, they received a pittance of grant money and are filled with equal incompetence as DCFS..
The S.A. had the power to file charges regardless of DCFS opinion or findings..
but when they make decisions based upon quota and winning and have an attorney who is referred to as the baby snatcher…who cannot work with others or agencies..
there is going to be consequences…
Children and families are going to suffer and they have.
P.K. needs to clean house in his juvenile department.
Acosta AND his Supervisors must resign or be fired.
The S.A. must be fired and anyone related from CASA must be fired.
