I’m “economically disadvantaged” just living here in Illinois with these sadsack IEA psuedo-teachers.
35.9% college ready? …………. I don’t really call that good.
Congratulations to our fine county schools. Keep up the good work to those who ranked high!!!!
Tallest scrap heap is still a scrap heap.
I don’t blame the teachers. It started fifty years ago when we abandoned the old ways and started teaching crap.
That is how educated people like AOC are completely clueless.
These schools suck. They crow about nothing. Ranked high against what Joey K, inner city skoolz where teacher hides? Aren’t you being racist Joey? Yes, YOU!

“Illinois Blows” you obviously never studied Rhetoric at Cary Grove under the late great Francie Zender. She might have taught you to avoid that kind of spurious reasoning.
You seem to have a lot of contempt for your community and institutions. I hope you find some reasons to be more optimistic.
The question for all these schools are the millennials still living at home?
Doesn’t matter what the grades are, it matters are these kids working a full time job, living on their own and being productive at age 25?
If you get a useless degree and living with mommy/daddy, which studies have shown that 1 in 4 millennials still live at home, you are not helping the world!
But I am surprised at Woodstock’s numbers being better with 43% minority and 37% economically disadvantage they are doing decent numbers with AP classes and graduation.
Well it appears that the report was only for government funded high schools.
If I’m not mistaken Marian Central has a graduation rate and a college prep rate that blows away the Schools listed.
Why is it that a school that pays its teachers 1/3 of the amount paid by the Government school system has substantially superior results?
Hummmmm?
