Is sharing one’s opinions hereditary?
My father took over the Government Improvement League newsletter after he moved to Crystal Lake and got involved in local politics.
That morphed into the Public Affairs Newsletter.
Later he published the Star Reporter, a weekly newspaper.
He, like I, was not proficient in selling ads.
Now, my little sister’s granddaughter, Keaton Campbell, having completed her freshman year at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, has started a blog.
To my surprise, it is a political blog.
This is how she describes it:
My name is Keaton Campbell and I am a 19-year-old college student.
This blog is a platform for me to share my thoughts and opinions and try my hand at political commentary.
Consider some of her articles:
- Violence is Violence, Beliefs are Not
- If it Fits the Narrative, Tweet it
- Kyle Kashuv and Harvard: A Hill Worth Dying on
- You Purchase it, You Pay for it
She writes quite well-reasoned pieces from a conservative viewpoint.
I am certain she would love comments on her work.
She had a great example to lead the way.
And, she is a really accomplished writer.
Just follow DJ’s rules for blog health.
1.Click at least 100 lines per day.
2.Keep Caps Lock properly lubed.
3.Avoid distractions of those spherical earth propogandists.
4.Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.
