The McHenry County Demcoratic Party is promoting a demonstration across from the McHenry County Jail to protest the incareraton of illegal immigrants.
It starts at 7:30 with a candlelight vigil starting at 9 PM.

There are a great many felons convicted of all manner of crimes housed in the Immigration block fighting deportation.
What’s to protest with these individuals?
There are also people whose only “manner of crimes” is to hope for a better life in McHenry County.
I’m ok with this as long as the protesters agree to take these folks home to clothe and feed them while they await deportation hearings.
Truth is we know this won’t happen but would give me a level of respect for their cause even if I don’t agree with them.
It does amaze me the logic of this group that somehow a criminal not a citizen is somehow treated differently than a criminal who is a citizen, then again taking my child to emergency room I was asked for a $500 copay, I told them “I no speaking English” to attempt to get Equal treatment with non citizens would do not have to pay for services.
At some point citizens need to demand of this group a list of laws or financial obligations we get to chose to disobey without consequence.
My personal choice would be property taxes to starve the leftist high school teachers.

Besides using “concentration camps” term, other prominent Democrats such as the U.S. Representative from NY named AOC Cortez lied when she claimed that persons in the detention areas were forced to drink water from toilets. Never happened. Stupid people will believe this.

My Dad (God Rest his Soul along with my dear Mother who Just joined him last month) fought for the Polish Army with the Russians against the Fascist Nazis.

That is how their love story began.
When Eisenhower Liberated Europe that camp became his headquarters. My mother served as Eisenhower’s maid and cook and still had a black and white photo of them with other officers.
She always remembered him as an honorable man and that’s why I am, to this day, an Eisenhower Democrat.
After all Eisenhower was the Last Legitimately Elected Republican President and Last True Moral and Fiscal Conservative.
