*REMINDER* Illinois Republican Party Training Seminar in Algonquin on September 21 — 29 Comments

  1. Republican Party in Illinois is like some sad, old half abandoned strip mall, with shoe and typewriter repair shops.

You have to just wonder how they manage to keep going as you drive by.

  2. D J, let’s hope Illinois’ current state is not a portend of things to come where you are at in north Texas.

It’ll be interesting to see if Allen West’s candidacy for RPT chairman is successful, given how The New York Times called the biggest winner of last night’s debate in Houston was Texas, and the Democrats’ possibly turning Texas blue next year for the first time since 1976 (and I was there when that happened).

The Democrats’ own infighting in Illinois, especially as State Chairman Madigan moves on, by choice or otherwise, will swing the political pendulum back sooner than later, and hopefully, the changes among Republicans in Illinois prepares for that cry of freedom in Illinois’ future.

  3. Thank you!

After 8 yrs as a Precinct cmtemn it’s great to see new leadership take the steps to bring us all together and educate us and do it locally as well.

  4. Just an empirical observation of 12 years living in Democrat run Dallas.

The most liberal of Dallas Democrats, would be considered an ultra-conservative Republican in Illinois.

  5. **Democrats’ own infighting in Illinois, especially as State Chairman Madigan moves on, by choice or otherwise, will swing the political pendulum back sooner than later,**

    Oh? Please do elaborate.

  6. Losers. losers, losers. Your dying White Privilege’s last gasps. On the cusp of a beautiful new America.

Just listen to what Lauren actually sez. And what she does. And look at the sadistic White Supremacist in the Whitehouse.

  7. Please explain you interpretation of this so called White Privilege
    UnderwoodNow?

  8. Wait a minute! Are you telling me this family-values, God-fearing, gun-clinging sunshine blog isn’t enough training for the next generation of compassionate conservative republikkklan leadership? Gimme a break! Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  9. White privilege? What are you talking about? Institutional racism? Never heard of it, so it must not be true. And above all, remember, I see no race…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  10. Deport LLavona now. To a secure mental institution in Central America.

  11. Regarding comment of Texas possibly turning blue – Statements by presidential (?) candidate Beto O’Rourke at the recent Democrat presidential debate and in the last year border on moronic. Such as President Trump being a white supremacist and his positions on illegal aliens.

What is in the water or air in Texas that almost half the voters in the 2018 Senate race chose Beto? Incumbent Senator Cruz won be less than 3 percent. But, apparently Democrat voters are ok with nutty ideas, words, statements by O’Rourke. Not a good sign for the future of Texas.

This is O’Rourke’s opening statement at the debate:

“On Aug. 3, in El Paso, Texas, two things became crystal clear for me, and I think produced a turning point for this country. The first is just how dangerous Donald Trump is, the cost and the consequence of his presidency.

A racism and violence that had long been a part of America was welcomed out into the open and directed to my hometown of El Paso, Texas, where 22 people were killed, dozens more grievously injured by a man carrying a weapon he should never have been able to buy in the first place, inspired to kill by our president.”

So, according to O’Rourke, Trump is “dangerous” and the El Paso murderer was “inspired to kill by our president
These statements are from a lunatic.

  12. Beto O’Rourke’s assertions aside, the 2018 elections, including how very close Beto came to beating Senator Ted Cruz, is a real wake-up call that Texas is changing politically and turning bluer. Of the 36 members of Congress from Texas, Republicans have a 23-13 advantage, but 2 of the districts the Democrats flipped last year are rated more Republican than IL-14, and the 23rd district, an R+1, was barely held onto by Republican Will Hurd.

Hurd, along with 4 other Texas congressmen, have announced they will not run again next year. Commenter D J lives in the TX-24, and their congressman is one of the Texas congressional retirees.

And in the Texas State Legislature, the 31-member state senate Republicans have a 19-12 majority after last November, but the senate president is the elected lieutenant governor (and the lieutenant governor is elected separate from the governor including the general election), who is Republican Dan Patrick and was reelected to a 2nd term last November. In the 150 member Texas House, Republicans hold only a 16-seat edge.

And Texas is expected to gain 3 congressional seats after next year’s census.

While Beto O’Rourke doesn’t represent the majority of Texas, if you use his Senate loss percentage, he represents a little less than 50%. Unless Republicans can reverse those trends, Texas turning into a blue state can happen sooner than later.

  13. Haters: It’s called the ‘Browning of America’.

Get used to it. It’s all demographics.

What a beautiful land we’ll have when the racist White power structure is burned down once and for all.

  14. I’m guessing UnderwoodNow’s job, of spinning that cardboard sign outside that Payday Loan Store, didn’t quite pan out.

  15. UnderwoodNow, be careful what you call it.

I, along with Evelyn Sanguinetti, Catalina Lauf, U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio and former New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, among others, represent the ‘Browning of America’.

The ‘beautiful land’ you envision won’t be burning anything, just shining the light of truth on the left-wing political agenda, UnderwoodNow.

  16. Texas will never turn blue because my Political Science and Sociology professor said so. Remember, my professor knows what he is talking about. This lunatic ignorant accurately predicted a year ago both Honorable congresspeople Sean Casten and Lauren Underwood did not stand a chance to win their congressional races in the 2018 Midterm elections. What? You mean they won? No kidding? Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  17. Please explain your interpretation of this so called White Privilege No Angel?

You seem to be doing just fine, so what is your grip?

  18. White privilege? What could that possibly be? Please explain because I have no idea. I once had a black friend in high school so I am not racist. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  19. Reckless, irresponsible and racist rhetoric from an underwood supporter previously posted:

“What a beautiful land we’ll have when the racist White power structure is burned down once and for all.”

Reminds one of far left wing radical has-been singer Madonna who on Jan 21, 2017 in Washington DC on live TV (CNN) said that she was thinking of burning down the whitehouse.

  20. “Buah, buah, buah, the left is violent. Buah, buah, buah, buaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh…” We know these republikkklans too well…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock…

  21. You are nothing but a race baiter No Angel.

Do you read from the Rules for Radicals book daily?

  22. This would be valuable training AFTER the primaries when all of the new PCs have been elected.

  23. Bred, you’re defending white supremacy?

    Do I understand that correctly?

Every time I think this crew can’t surprise me, boom there it is!

  24. Hey “Lopez”, you may be an OK guy. The problem is that your amigos —80% of ‘em — will be voting for bigger and bigger welfare grab-bags. Just remember, all these people are fleeing Mexico and parts south because those places are ruined narco-states run by violent thugs. Lawlessness abounds in the 3rd world. And they’re bringing the third world right to our doorsteps. I don’t like it, Lopez. I don’t like it one bit.

  25. “And they’re bringing the third world right to our doorsteps. I don’t like it, Lopez. I don’t like it one bit”. Racist republikkklans are very audacious bringing percentages to gaslight us into believing their nonsense. I suppose they are only 80% racists. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…
