The Facebook link in the above tweet is linked to an audio interview he had with Illinois Review‘s Fran Eaton on September 18, where Kinzler gave answers to four different questions.

The questions asked were not softball, as Eaton asked why should he run when 2 pro life women are already in the campaign.

COMMENTARY: Republican primary voters have 5 1/2 months to decide between 3 Republican candidates (Kinzler, Jeanne Ives and Evelyn Sanguinetti) in the 6th district primary. It will likely take nearly that long for the Republican primary electorate to decide which of these 3 is the best.

Right now, absent any credible independent polling, most likely voters are going to be undecided in late September. Each candidate has their own strengths and opportunities.

Republicans want to flip the 6th from a freshman Democrat during a presidential election year, and the last time a Republican flipped a congressional seat in a presidential election year when a Democrat sought reelection was 1992 (Manzullo vs. Cox). Whom the nominee will be and their electability will be crucial.

Sean Casten Doing 6 Town Halls in the 6th on October 5th

On Thursday, Congressman Sean Casten announced he would hold 6 1-hour town halls at six different locations across the 6th district on Saturday, October 5th. Below are the 2 locations closest to McHenry County voters:

The Fox River Grove location is the only town hall in McHenry County. The Sleepy Hollow town hall is the next closest to Algonquin Township residents.

The other three locations not listed are in Bartlett, Glen Ellyn and Clarendon Hills, in that order, after the Sleepy Hollow town hall.

More information will be posted on McHenry County Blog as the events draw closer.

  1. The leader of fraud, drum roll please…….NANCY PELOSI! Standing right behind her beating the corrupt drum, owned and operated by the Democrats, is Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama and others.

  2. Ives all the way.

Is Kinzler’s candidacy being funded by “Spaghetti’s” backers to try and split the conservative vote?

Sounds like he’ll take more votes from Ives than the Rino-ette and Rauner sanctuary Stae parrot.

  3. Instead of “Six for the Sixth” Carsten should have titled it “THE SIXTH SENSE CANDIDATE” ….. like that movie with Bruce Willis playing the creepy child psychologist who didn’t realize he was dead until movie’s last frames.

  4. Casten’s next door neighbor? I get every vote counts and he’s a veteran so respect to his service.

But come one who cares if it’s his next door neighbor? Why would you assume someone would vote for a politician just because they live close.

Makes for an OK video but it’s really just stupid. Does Jeanne’s neighbors support her over Casten? I doubt it.

Who ever is advising Jeanne’s campaign has her doing some good stuff but this is just a head scratcher.

  5. Dear compassionate conservative, family-values republikkklans: Don’t you find suspicious that Lauren Underwood wouldn’t have the courage to do 14 town halls in the 14th on October 14th? What is she hiding? Is she afraid of some good old-fashioned, transparency first, accountability always, scrutiny? Something ain’t right over here let me tell ya…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww…
