I laughed so hard when I read this older post by ‘Jethro Hull’ (Oct 1, 2019 about Birds) about our Jackal, I had to repost it here:
I heard Jack’s rat tail, cut off in the hospital shortly after his birth, is preserved in formaldehyde.
He keeps it at his law office and shows it from time to time to clients, and sometimes to the people he forecloses homes on in favor of the Wonder Lake State Bank, owned by his Daddy.
As he puts it “Sometimes I try to scare the deadbeats with my rat tail and tell them, “Yeah, I’m a rat. So what? You owe the Wonder Lake State Bank $40,000. We ain’t no charity. See this, it’s my tail! Pay or I’ll start gnawing at the kid in the cradle. I need to sharpen my teeth again —- on debtors’ bones!!! Are you goin’ to pay up???””
