After being the fastest growing county in the United States for three to four decades, McHenry County’s population has remained constant since 2010.
The official number for the 2010 Census was 308,760.
In mid-year, 2018, the number was 308,043.
All sorts of other data is at the link in the first paragraph.
Nobody can afford to stay here.
So much for the 2030 Comprehensive Land Plan.
For comparison, it looks like the population of Illinois declined from 12.94 to 12.74 million during that same period (2010-2018).
That represents about a 1.5% decline which is much higher than McHenry County’s 0.1% decline.
You can check out county data too and McHenry County is still in much better shape than most other counties.
I know that’s a low bar, but I’m trying to make you feel less bad.
Thank God for great news.
The whole place was filling up with Democrats.
Not quite sure who I sold that McHenry Property to in April.
There was a Miquel, Jose, Maria, the other Jose, Juan and a Pablo.
But I do know there was Foreign National paperwork in the Closing Pack.
Hopefully that gets the numbers back up.

Why have a “Population Estimates Bases” for 2010 when the actual 2010 “Population” is known?
The “Population Estimates Base” is used for statistical purposes when comparing estimates.
Estimates occur between actual Census counts.
The “Population” is the actual census count which occurs every 10 years.
So a “Population Estimates Base” in one year is compared to a “Population estimates” in another year, to compare apples to apples.

Well, a Macintosh apple is different from a Ambrosia, so please, no apples to apples mishmash.
Of course I’m joking, somewhat.

What ever happened to the “mass exodus” that snowflakes have been declaring for years?
Go move to Alabama to match a citizenry that supports Red and hates education.
