Ives Response to Democrat Impeachment Inquiry

September 25, 2019 – Jeanne Ives, Republican candidate for Congress (IL-06), released the following statement in response to Sean Casten and Congressional Democrats’ move to begin an impeachment inquiry into President Trump:
“Sean Casten began pursuing impeachment before the transcript of President Trump’s July call with Ukraine President Zelensky was released, and before intel committees had obtained the whistleblower complaint. Casten is a bitter partisan – uninterested in evidence and indifferent to policy solutions. Democrats in Congress have no serious governing agenda. They have no workable ideas to solve the problems with which most Americans are faced. So they are using a fanantical obsession with impeachment as cover.
“They won’t act on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) for the sake of America’s economy and workers.
“They won’t act to protect private health insurance choices and quality of care.
“They won’t act to secure our borders or provide a path for permanent status for DREAMERS.
“They are partisan hacks engaged in a perpetual tantrum over losing the 2016 election.
“The families and businesses of the Sixth District are reasonable, responsible people. They deserve a representative who will work to increase opportunity for them and their children, and who is focused on solving problems rather than exacerbating them.
“Sean Casten is only interested in obstructing his political opponents and stirring up animosity. He should be a TV pundit – not a member of Congress.
“The 2020 election is about our future quality of life, not their past political failures. I am confident the voters in IL-6 recognize that.”

Ives’ Interview with Crain’s Chicago Business
Crain’s Chicago Business posted it’s interview with Jeanne Ivess this morning around 10AM. Here is the Ives’ campaign tweet:
COMMENTARY: While not a main part of the interview, Ives did say she favors raising the SALT deduction cap of the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017, but did not say how much. This brings up Lauren Underwood’s H.R. 1757, legislation strongly backed by Sean Casten. This issue raises a “red flag” with me, given the empirical evidence that says the SALT deduction cap did NOT result in a rise in middle class taxes after the Tax Cut & Jobs Act of 2017.
This is something Ives needs to discuss when she publishes her position paper on taxes and spending, because she has taken the Casten and Underwood line that the SALT deduction caps did raise taxes on the middle class.
McHenry County Blog awaits her stand on the issues of taxes and spending and for her to defend what she said in the interview.

They’re all Justice Democrats, in which one of the former head honchos for it (Saikat Chakrabarti) idolized a Nazi sympathizer and imperial Japan. Yeah, great people……..
Oh, side note:
“Resist” is a product of Michael Skolnik (look him up). His whole purpose is to build leftist social movements. He helped a lot with Black Lives Matter, March For Our Lives, the Women’s March, etc. His agency (SOZE) also represents a lot of other left leaning groups (such as the Open Society Foundation).
At some point someone should sit Kvidera down and explain that those brain farts that get applause in a Underwood Town Hall, get laughs in this room.

Some of them act like imbeciles also. Such as the U.S. Rep from CA who told her supporters and other Democrats to harass Trump Administration officials at gas stations and in restaurants. Some of these supporters than went out and harassed women from the Administration in restaurants.
You have to wonder about the mentality, intellect and IQ of voters who elected this lady and more recently the nutball Democrat freshman women in the House of Representatives.

He jacked the generals up last week about their stellar lack of success ANYWHERE.
Somebody has finally taken on all the Chinese thefts of intellectual property and not kicked the can down the road!
