Sen. Wilcox hosts free Medicare informational seminars

McHenry, IL. – The series of Medicare informational seminars, hosted by State Sen. Craig Wilcox, will continue during the month of October.

“Medicare can be a complex and confusing program, so I invite you to one of two free informational seminars featuring experts who can explain and answer questions about this federal health insurance program,” said Sen. Wilcox (R-McHenry).

The Medicare seminars, featuring representatives from AARP, include learning about who is eligible, what the program covers, how to get help with out-of-pocket expenses and enrollment.

The seminar dates, times and locations are as follows:

Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 11:20 a.m., Village of Fox Lake Council Chambers, 66 Thillen Drive, Fox Lake, Illinois

Medicare Informational Seminar #2

Thursday, October 24, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Harvard Diggins Library, 900 East McKinley Street, Harvard, Illinois

“There is a lot of important information to pass along, and I believe the seminars can help folks navigate the complexity of Medicare,” said Wilcox.

Both free seminars include refreshments and legislative brochures.
