Needle Found in Huntley Kit Kat Bar, Probably a “Treat” from Halloween

From the Huntley Police Department:

Suspicious Incident

On the evening of November 6, Huntley Police received a report of a tampered piece of candy that a child may have received while Trick or Treating, possibly in the Talamore subdivision.

The resident reported a small Kit Kat bar with what appears to be a large sewing needle inserted in it that was discovered when the child bit into the candy.

At this point, it is unknown where or when the object was inserted into the candy.

The entry point of the needle was visible on the exterior of the candy wrapper.

No one was injured in the incident.

As we investigate, we would like to remind all parents and caregivers to carefully inspect any candy before children consume it.

Any food with wrappers that appear ripped, punctured or tampered with in any way should be discarded.

  1. Illinois nitwits should have taught their kid’s by now.

That Trick-or-Treating, should only occur at houses with Bernie or ‘Hate Has No Home’ yard signs.

Kid’s are guaranteed a stalk of Kale or a toothbrush.
