From WGN-TV:

Arrested Tuesday in Cape Coral, Florida, was Linda Laroche, a Registered Nurse who cared for Peggy Lynn Johnson, who was mentally impaired, in McHenry before Johnson’s murder in 1999.

During those five years, police said Laroche subjected Johnson to abuse that was “long-term and horrific,” according to Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling, at the hands of Laroche, police said.

Johnson’s body was found at the edge of a cornfield in Raymond, Wisconsin, but not identified publically until today, WGN reports.
