  1. In this sunshine compassionate conservative blog, we back the badge 500%. What if the police officer has a physical disability? Next issue, please. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeeeoooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww…

  2. Guess Lakemore doesnt read the NW Herald which has had a field day on this nonsense with the McHenry County Sheriffs Dept.

Wake up Lakemoor–you had the time to “back it in”so couldnt have been too much of an Emergency reason for it.

  3. It’s unlikely that he would have taken the time to back in if he were responding to an actual emergency.

  4. I wish posts on this blog showed up immediately the way that they used to.

I wouldn’t have bothered to repeat what someone else already said.

  5. Isn’t an officer sitting in the car?

Might be doing their job keeping an eye on traffic.

  6. Need to get the officer’s story. Among the possibilities is that an officer just finished dropping off a severely disabled person and backed in the car so that the person had a shorter walk to the building.

  7. @Bred.. I don’t think that police can escort or take people for rides in their squad cars.

I’m going to go with liability reasons!

Think before you write something way off the cuff!

Not saying we don’t need to hear from the officer first before speculating but more than likely they are at fault for doing something stupid!

You can go to any area Walmart and find people all day long parking in handicap spots!

I wish police would start going through these areas more often because it really has become a bigger problem!

  8. When Lakemoor looks better than Crystal Lake, you know the County is in decline.

These lazy cops flout all the traffic laws, why are people so upset about their breaking parking laws?

  9. Update:

A Lakemoor patrol officer was issued a ticket after being caught parking in a spot reserved for people with disabilities.

The officer parked in the space in Lakemor Crossings Strip Mall, over by Rosati’s, Lakemoor Police Chief David Godlewski said.

  10. “Among the possibilities is that an officer just finished dropping off a severely disabled person and backed in the car so that the person had a shorter walk to the building.” My Political Science and Sociology professor out-ridiculing himself yet again, this time with a back-the-badge post for the ages. An update on this story: according to reports, the patrol officer may have paid the check from the pizza ordered by the severely disabled person he/she may have helped get into Rosati’s. Additionally, the patrol officer may have provided company and comfort to that severely disabled person during his/her dinner at Rosati’s. Of course, in this sunshine blog, we make up the most ridiculous stories and theories and we immediately believe them. Quoting our cyber preacher, let’s have some more fun with the post. Stay tuned…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeeeoooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww…
