Cocaine Sale to Confidential Informant Results in Five-Year Sentence

ERIC HERNANDEZ SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF DELIVERY OF COCAINE

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Eric Hernandez, 29, was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge after pleading guilty to Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 Felony.

On February 28, 2019, Hernandez sold cocaine to a confidential informant.

Herandez is from Lake in the Hills.

This case was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department.

This case was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
