Algonquin Township Clerk Karen Lukasik Using Stamp in Place of Signature

In an apparent invitation to township officials to avoid their township halls, the Illinois General Assembly long ago authorized the use of stamps in place of actual signatures.

Algonquin Township Clerk Karen Lukasik has regularly used this authorization tchnique on checks since mid-October.

Her stamp has also been used on Road District documents, such as the sale of a John Deer motor grader for $228,000 to Effingham County’s Summit Township.

  1. But somebody had to sign the ‘facsimile’ for her because she is illiterate and cannot sign her name beyond an “X.”

In High School she was able to sign her maiden name.

In her household, her Police Chief husband did all the signing.

I believe the person who created the ‘facsimile’ sig. was none other than the elusive Chas. Lutzow, who is AWOL from the public and his township gig, but spotted at Lake Geneva restaurants.

  2. This isn’t a story about a signature, it’s about Gasser selling the grader, another example of Andy wasting tax payers $$$$$.

  3. If it wasn’t all so sad and irritating, Dante, that would be hilarious.
Once again nob is clueless. Did you read the headline? Reading comprehension not your suite?
