Jack Franks Out an Hour during Debate on Solar Power Project from which He Would Benefit

There must be a pretty good return on solar power projects.

At the last meeting of the McHenry County Board, Chairman Jack Franks left the room while a project that would benefit himself financially was considered.

There were thirty applicants for approval submitted to State government.

A reader wondered what are the odds that the one Jack Franks will benefit from got picked by state government?

District 6 Board member Jim Kearns expressed his concern that the electric line would only be three feet under the Kiswaukee River.

He related that the last time the river was dredged, the depth was 15 feet.

Jack Franks left the room during the debate on his solar project.

Extensive discussion took place resulting in a requirement that the underground line run above the river from pole to pole or be deep enough not to be disturbed by potential dredging.
