Dems Go After Buyers of Expensive Used Cars

Starting January 1st, purchasers of used cars costing more than $10,000 will pay more.

If the vehicle costs more than $10,000, any amount paid over that amount will be subject to sales tax for the second time.

“Buyers currently get a tax credit for their old car’s value, and are only taxed on the differences in value between their trade-in and the new car,” accodring to WBBM-TV.

Car dealers are encouraging December purchases with ads like you see here.
