While Tuesday’s Appearance Perfunctory Next Steps Will be Fast
State Board Wants to Certify Ballot by January 9 Meeting
Tuesday will be the first appearance of the parties in all of the State Officers Electoral Board in petition objections. While the appearances are perfunctory, the Board will finalize and approve the rules for resolving objections and formally assigning hearing officers for the 46 petition objections before the Electoral Board.
The hearing officer assigned to Lauf’s petition objection case and his assignments are below:
Once the assignments are formally approved, the cases will move quickly.
Also on the agenda will be the formal dismissal of a petition objection against a Republican congressional candidate in the 17th district.

At least there is no tote bag or enamel pins for sale.
