Skillicorn Calls for Acosta to Resign from County Board

From State Rep. Allen Skillicorn:

Skillicorn calls on McHenry County Board Member Acosta to Resign

Crystal Lake, IL –Representative Skillicorn is calling on Carlos Acosta to resign from the McHenry County Board.

Acosta has been fired from his position at DCFS for his serious lack of oversight in the AJ Freund case as was recommended in the Inspector General’s report.

He, also, had a habit of clocking in for work at DCFS and then heading over to McHenry Board meetings as revealed in a Freedom of Information Act filed by a concerned citizen (attached.)

Skillicorn stated, “As it is obvious that Acosta cannot be trusted with protecting the most vulnerable in our community, it only stands to reason that he cannot be trusted to oversee matters for the citizens of McHenry County.

“He should resign immediately. ”

Skillicorn Calls for Acosta to Resign from County Board — 25 Comments

  1. Someone better file criminal charges, the sooner the better.

  2. Clearly, because of the way Acosta conducted himself during the AJ Freund case, he has proven he is not capable of representing the people. Therefore, Acosta must resign ASAP!

  3. According to those time sheets he was stealing money from the state, and also the taxpayers.

On top of his non top notch work at DCFS.

Taxpayers = suckers in this case.

  4. Finally somebody w/ sufficient scrotal development to stand up for us!!!!

Thanks Patsy Kenneally for the Big Wimpout!

  5. Kudos to Skillicorn!

Boooooos for Franks, Kenneally and other enabling shielders!

  6. Carlos Acosta was elected by the people of McHenry County. Why do these republikkklans want to overturn the result of this election? Hmmmmmmmmm…Stay tuned…319 days…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwww…

  7. You stupid fool Angel, supporting Carlos Acosta!

Carlos should be in prison along with any other person who was a part of his case.

Acosta, was elected by the people of McHenry County before AJ Freund was MURDERED!

Carlos Acosta, Jack Franks and Lauren Underwood need to resign and march right out of town!

  8. If Franks had the balls to exert leadership he would ask Acosta for his resignation, but no, I don’t think that will happen.

  9. Angel for the win…although blind people didn’t understand the meaning of your message.

  10. Shazam, No-Anglel has crawled out from under his rock and chimed in with his typical bs.

I doubt, with the building size of malfeasance, the dope in question will ever get re-elected.

  11. Jim I disagree, I think it takes incredible balls not to ask for his resignation in light of what everyone thinks.

    A giant F%&# Y@% to the county

  12. “Angel for the win…..” What did he win?

That the Hispanic people are represented by a person who is totally incompetent, that if our SA had any integrity could bring this man up on charges of malfeasance.

    Angels the winner.

    Carlos is a winner.

  13. Acosta should step down. Trump should step down.

I think Angela is trying to make a point rather than defend Acosta.

She is pointing out how stupid the GOP talking points are about how “63 million people voted for Trump” and “this is an attempt to overturn the election results”

DALA is right that Acosta was elected before AJ was killed.

Along those same lines, Trump was elected before he tried to get a foreign country to publicly announce that they were investigating Joe Biden.

  14. From what I have read, you can have your naturalized citizenship revoked if you lied on any of the forms.

If you take liberties with state of Illinois time sheets, it might follow you may have done the same on forms to become a US citizen.

    They call this denaturalization.

This is done in Federal court.

By statute, citizenship obtained through naturalization can be revoked not only for fraud, but also in cases in which the individual, or even the government, makes an inadvertent error in the naturalization process.

There is no statute of limitations in civil denaturalization cases, meaning that the government can take away citizenship decades after a person thought himself to be permanently an American.

  15. what needs to be known here is How did Carlos get his Job?

When did Carlos get his job?

    Who Hired Carlos?

I firmly believe that patronage hiring is alive and well in McHenry County

  16. Almost half the country thinks Trump didn’t do anything impeachable.

    Who is defending Acosta?

Democrats almost unanimously voted to impeach Trump.

Is there near unanimous agreement among Democrats that Acosta should stay on the board?

Your little analogy is actually a lot weaker and dumber than you think, and the fact that you even made this about Trump shows how deranged and out of touch you are.

  17. I’m back from Cuba where I traveled to support and build bridges of understanding and cooperation with the good Cuban people and I find these compassionate conservative, irresponsible sunshine commenters trashing my good friend Carlos Acosta all around this sewer sunshine blog.

They want to make us believe this is about roaring for justice when in reality is about exploiting the murder of an innocent boy in the hands of his parents for cheap political purposes.

Carlos Acosta is an honest, decent man and it is my duty to defend him against the irresponsible accusations from these racist, homophobic, fake-christian, pseudo-family-values compassionate conservative crew trying to hound him out of office.

Carlos Acosta was elected by the good people of McHenry County and it is up to the people of McHenry County to decide whether Carlos will continue to serve in case he decides to run for re-election.

With regards to these sick, conservative patriots, are you telling me you want to overturn the will of the people as expressed in the 2018 elections?

    Do you?

It so happens I see some snowflake republikkklans making a somewhat similar argument with regards to the impeachment of a 73-year old, six-times-bankrupt, orange man-child from office.

Stay tuned…318 days…tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, tic, tock, meeeeeeoooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww…

  18. Allen this story is pretty much a cheap shot for political reasons.

    Enough.

  19. Wrong Linda.

Accountability rules in a case like this.

    It won’t just go away

  20. Get ready for more and more ‘Acostas’.

    That’s the Democrats’ gameplan.

Fill up the state as a sanctuary state with more and more illegals to vote themselves bigger and bigger welfare grab-bags.

Illinois is a narco state, just like Mexico.

It’s not hard to figure out why!
