IL-06/IL-14: Last Day of Q419 Fundraising *Update x2: Evans New Video, Lauf New Tweet*

Originally from Schools of Philadelphia

It’s New Year’s Eve, and as 2019 slips into history, so does FEC fundraising reporting period

It’s December 31, and it’s the last day remaining for Federal Election Commission (FEC) Q419 campaign disclosure reporting period.

Here are the last minute pitches of the campaigns as they were posted on social media yesterday.

It is an educated guess that campaigns not doing a social media push for funds, are likely doing so through emails.

This post will be updated throughout the day as campaigns make pitches for fundraising before the clock strikes Midnight.

“Whatever else is on your list of resolutions for 2020, Republicans need to add one big one: WINNING.

“And just like every resolution, this one is will take ACTION.

“In March, the Illinois primary election is going to set the direction for the 14th District race against Lauren Underwood, one of the most vulnerable and beatable members of Congress.

“Unfortunately, some of the candidates are untested, and others are repeat, proven losers on the national stage.

“I’ve run in five elections—three of them were “Tier-One” state legislative races—and I’ve won every single time, outperforming the expectations and delivering the results we deserve – at the ballot box AND in office.

“For my part, I resolve to work for you every single day, on the campaign trail and after winning on Election Day. But it’s going to take all of us in 2020.

“Tomorrow is the end of the year, and most importantly, the end of the crucial 4th quarter. Can I count on you now?”

Thanks,
Sue Rezin

P.S. Please, before January 1st gets here, take a quick moment to get 2020 started right – by contributing to a strong, winning campaign operation with a gift of $5, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can give! Thanks – Sue https://secure.anedot.com/rezin-for-congress/donate

On Tuesday morning, Catalina Lauf was on Newsmax at 9:37AM CST. If a podcast replay of her 5 minutes interview is posted, it is unknown.

Shortly after 11AM, Lauf tweeted the following message, in the screenshot below. The video with the tweet was the same as yesterday, so it is excluded. The link to WinRed is below the screenshot:

  1. What’s this goofball Rezin trying to convince me of?

That’s she’s been elected 5X and Illinois is still a bankrupt, over-taxed, hellscape of corruption?

  2. D J, and early Happy New Year to you in north Texas.

I guess what Rezin’s trying to get across is in a day and age where the Democrats in Illinois are eating the Republicans’ lunch in elections, Rezin has consistently won, and the seats she won have stayed Republican.

First the House seat she won in 2010 general (but never served in), and then the state senate seat she was appointed to in late 2010, which her predecessor flipped from Democrat, and Rezin has kept Republican since.

Guess she points to Oberweis and Marter consistently losing high profile federal elections, as well as Oberweis’ gubernatorial primary loss from 2006, and she can be distinguished from them by never losing an election, and winning highly competitive elections, which the 14th district is.

And she points out accurately that the other 4 candidates (Catalina Lauf, Ted Gradel, Jerry Evans and Anthony Catella) have not yet been vetted and is unknown what surprises they have in their closets.

Let’s get back to your part of the country and the heroics of Jack Wilson.

I know you are far from White Settlement, but did I hear Mr. Wilson, who’s retired, is already running for public office in 2020, Tarrant County commissioner (equivalent to a county board member here in Illinois)?

I’ve driven by that church site many times, long before it was a church, by I-30.

    Happy New Year to you.

  3. I thought Wilson is running for a seat in Hood County.

I’m also guessing those heroics are in his DNA. That’s Alamo descendant turf, Davy Crockett and such down there by Granbury.

    Happy New Year.

  4. D J, good point, and my bad, for assuming Wilson lived in the county the church was located.

County commissioner, but not Tarrant County.

If anyone was running against him in the primary, given the national attention Wilson’s received, they’d be advised to drop out.

  5. DJ, you are spot on.

Rezin is now making people angry.

“Vote for me, I’m a woman and my husband is spooky!”

  6. Rezin’s husband doesn’t spook me, Sue and he are just more fatcat country club Republicans, Rauner types.

    All hype no substance.
