Sue Rezin

From Rezin for Congress Campaign:

Campaign Update

A winner’s guide to winning again…

Senator DeWitte and Mayor Schielke Endorse Rezin…

  • Sue Rezin has been endorsed by her colleague, State Senator Don DeWitte who represents Kane and McHenry Counties and was a former mayor of St. Charles for eight years.
  • Rezin has also been endorsed by longtime Batavia Mayor Jeff Shielke who is one of Illinois’ longest serving mayors.

Business PACs decide to support Sue Rezin

When Sue Rezin began her campaign for Congress last summer she was told not to bother seeking business PAC support and contributions because that was not possible due to:

  1. Republicans being in the minority in the House.
  2. An incumbent is in the race in Lauren Underwood.
  3. That business PACs would not get involved in primaries.

Nevertheless, Sue Rezin tried and is succeeding. For the fourth quarter of 2019 Sue Rezin will be reporting large contributions from:

  • Caterpillar PAC, one of the bellwether business PACs for Illinois campaigns. Sought after by all candidates because it’s a leader who is followed among business PACs.
  • National Energy Institute, NEI
  • National Automobile Dealers Association, NADA
  • Associated General Contractors, AGC
  • Exelon
  • National Association of Chemical Distributors, NACD

These Political Action Committees (PACs) represent and are funded directly by the employees of businesses with a presence in the 14th District and are run by seasoned professionals skilled at choosing winners in contested campaigns. They exist to support pro-business advocates in federal elections.

Sue Rezin will be first on the ballot

The Illinois State Board of Elections drawing selected Sue Rezin to be listed first on the ballot among the seven Republican candidates for Congress in the 14th District.

Sue Rezin for Congress News Releases in December:

Sue Rezin featured on MSNBC as one of two Republican women running for Congress in 2020

Since last July Sue Rezin has been working hard attending events every day all over the 14th District

In the past month, Sue has attended events and had meetings repeatedly in every county in the district.

This includes events for veterans, meetings with local officials, attending local charity fundraisers, touring businesses to learn about the particular challenges they face, attending community organization’s Christmas parties, attending fundraisers for Republican candidates, speaking to students at five schools, meeting potential campaign donors, and attending events such as the McHenry County Women’s Republican Club Annual Breakfast, the Illinois Farm Bureau annual meeting.

IL-14: Sue Rezin Gives Campaign Update — 13 Comments

  1. I like Sue Rezin and think she would be a great congresswoman but this does not portray momentum of any sort.

Who told her she wouldn’t be able to raise money from Business PACs when she first started running and why does that matter that she was able to prove them wrong?

Being first on the ballot is by luck of the draw not because she is running a good campaign.

And then it just links to old releases that are way too long and no one will read.

Then brags about her meeting people in the district?

    Congratulations for campaigning.

Good luck to Rezin but this is just a weird thing to put out.

  2. If Flaming Flamont ‘likes’ her, that’s all I need to know.

Rezin is all for the gay agenda and abortion, forever wars in the Middle East, gun control (really citizen control) measures, protecting governmental bureaucrats’ pensions.

When’s Jack Franks going to endorse her, too?

  3. She cannot win a conservative primary… especially not with a better conservative female candidate like Lauf

  4. If she were the least bit interested in meeting people in the district (where she doesn’t even live) she would be attending the Republican debate on the 22nd at MCC.

    But NO!

    She ducking the debate.

She’s obviously afraid to be compared side by side with the other candidates all of whom are attending.

    What’s wrong Suzie Q.

Afraid to show your RINO rear?

  5. “MsTrumpion” what kind of conservative record does Lauf have?

Rezin is a proven conservative with actual legislative experience, Lauf’s only relevant experience is a 6-month glorified internship at the department of commerce.

  6. Yes, Fierabras, as Correcting asked, I’d like to hear that, too.

  7. Mike – you’d prefer to spread lies about Lauf than to have any sort of character.

Lauf was a presidential appointee at a Gs 13 level far from an “internship.”

More accomplished than whatever you’ve done I’m sure.

  8. Price, I’m no Lauf fan, either.

I’m sick of these Obama-type candy-dates who appear out of nowhere.
