Sheriff’s Office Investigating an Alleged Stabbing
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged stabbing that occurred in unincorporated Crystal Lake Thursday morning.
At about 6:22 a.m., on January 9, deputies responded to the 6000 block of Acorn Court for an assist to rescue call.
Deputies arrived on scene and discovered a 29-year-old Crystal Lake man
with wounds consistent by a knife.
The man was transported by ambulance to Northwestern Hospital in McHenry where he was flown by helicopter to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville.
This investigation is ongoing by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
There is no known threat to the public and anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Office at 815-334-4750.
