Carolyn Schofield’s Campaign Finance Report

Carolyn Schofield

McHenry County Board member Carolyn Schofield is seeking the Republican nomination for State Representative again.

And, again, she is running against Allen Skillicorn, who took office in 2016.

Contributions totaled $4,164.27.

Of those five exceeded $150:

  • Alliance Contractors of Woodstock – $500
  • Citizens for Pamela J. Althoff – $500
  • DeWitte for IL Senate – $500
  • Maggie and Ray Auger of Algonquin – $250
  • Steve Collins of Darien – $200

Interestingly, the gift from Alliance Contractors is misclassified as a transfer from a Political Action Committee.

$1,450 was contributed in amounts of $150 or less. One at $150 came from a politician who did not want his or her name to be made public.

At the end of December, Schofield had $6,095.18 in the bank, an increase from the end of September’s number of $2,695.18.

She spent $764.27 for her fundraiser at Algonquin’s Biaggis Ristorante., which she did not take from her campaign account, instead writing a personal check, which she reported as a loan.

Schofield reports owing herself $1,511.27, which includes the cost of the fundraiser.

  1. I will never vote for anybody endorsed by Pam “the Scam” Althoff or DeWitte. Ever!

  2. I agree with above posters.

If Pam is backing her, nobody in their right minds should do so.
