Another Take on Illinois State Supoena of Jack Franks Records in Mike Madigan’s Office

State Police looking into alleged sexual crimes of Jack Franks, McHenry County Board Chairman –

BY JMKRAFT ON FEBRUARY 1, 2020 • ( 1 COMMENT )

SPRINGFIELD, IL. (ECWd) –

According to the search warrant obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, the Illinois State Police justified a search warrant referencing Jack Franks by stating that “probable cause exists for the crimes of criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual assault, official misconduct, stalking and aggravated battery.”

Maybe Kirk Allen’s comments about Jack Franks back on Sep 19, 2017 were somewhat prophetic when he stated to Franks during a McHenry County Board meeting that

You sir, are the most evil kind of political servant I’ve ever experienced.”

Watch the video, starting at the 3:43 mark, below.

I guess time will tell…

The Sun-Times reports that the search warrants were served on Speaker Madigan’s office this past week and were searching for records related to Franks.

What no one apparently knew, until the Sun-Time reported it, was that Speaker Madigan had asked in February of 2019 that the Illinois Secretary of State Capitol Police ban Jack Franks from entering the Capitol without an escort.

They also reported the Speaker’s office had determined the original complaint against Franks to be credible and later referred new information to various law enforcement agencies.

  1. What’s the story on Peter Austin?

    Is he a Franks hire/minion?

  2. Skank Franks must resign pronto.

Stop all lust-maniac stalkers before they can abuse more power.

  3. Innocent until proven guilt (Unless they are Democrats)!

Cal’s in 7th Heaven over this to be sure.

    Sheer schadenfreude!

  4. Seems to me Democrat elected officials in Illinois with sexual harrassment charges get ignored by the upper management.

Do all roads lead to coverup underwood now?

  5. Oh I’m sure they knee back then and they were on it!

    Thank you, Watchdogs!

  6. Why haven’t these same provisions by the state transcended to the county form of government?

What no one apparently knew, until the Sun-Time reported it, was that Speaker Madigan had asked in February of 2019 that the Illinois Secretary of State Capitol Police ban Jack Franks from entering the Capitol without an escort.

  7. Underwood Now, it’s not schadenfrude in the least.

Franks is no innocent person befallen by misfortune.

He brought it all on himself.

He’s the one who made sure the fake news NWH exposed Nick Provenzano’s dalliance w/ a high school boy.

Now he gets exposed for far worse!

    It’s not schadenfrude, it’s K-A-R-M-A !!

  8. He was hired by the County Board and his contract says that’s where he reports, but he certainly quickly turned into a Franks minion.

  9. Jack Franks has been misbehaving for a long time.

Additionally, it has been reported to me that he has been intimidating and retaliating against the McHenry County Board Members.

Franks does not like it when people standup against him.

HE DOESN’T JUST GET MAD HE GETS EVEN!

Underwood now is a FRANKS MINION!

  10. Another self promotion piece by the Dog’s!

Send CA$H, it pays for their hobby.

  11. On Carol Sente’s Facebook page a few minutes right after the story broke :

Hi Carol. I sent you a private message on messenger.”

    Hmmmmm…

  12. Based on the Northwest Herald’s downplaying of this story as compared to other newspapers, what else are they covering up regarding McHenry County government and local municipalities?

Who are their political buddies and what motivation would the Herald have in helping politicians and government entities conceal their activities and dealings from the public?

  13. The real question is why did Madigan throw Franks under the bus.

  14. Jack Franks couldn’t keep his groundhog in his pants….. maybe six more or 8 week until we see his indictment?

  15. @Grumpy grandpa

I don’t think that Madigan threw Franks under the bus.

I think he merely did what he SHOULD have done period.

I’m not saying that Madigan is a saint, he definitely is NOT.

I’m not saying he turned over the allegations to law enforcement because he felt it was the right thing to do.

IMHO he did it to cover his own a$$.

He didn’t rock and roll with it until the second complaint surfaced (may have been from the second victim) and it was obvious that the complaint was going to grow legs.

What politician in his or her right mind would want to be accused of a coverup of sexual harassment or assault in this day and age?

Madigan has enough problems of his own.

He doesn’t need more courtesy of Jack Franks.

  16. This is how you get them to roll on each other.

It is fun to watch the snowball grow into an avalanche.
