“Are You Crazy for Running” for County Board Chairman?

That’s the question that a Republican candidate for the GOP nomination for Winnebago County Board Chairman is being asked, according to the Rockford Register-Star.

Before the search warrant for McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks was made public by House Speaker Mike Madigan, thus throwing Franks under the bus, Republican Party candidate running to oppose Franks might have been asked the same question.

No longer.

People who attended the Harvard Meet and Greet hosted by County Treasurer Glenda Miller at Starline last week, walked off with almost all of the 75 yard signs Buehler brought.

Mike Buehler and Glenda Miller

People can contact Buehler at his web site. an email sign-up button, but when I wrote this no “I want a yard sign” one, so if anyone has web site talents, it appears he could use some help.

  1. I gave up what was to be my retirement home in high tax Winnebago County, way back in 2008 when I saw my backyard squirrels putting blindfolds on.

  2. We support Mike Buehler taking on the corrupt democrat Jack Franks who is importing Madigan cronyism and corruption into McHenry since he took office.

  3. I heard Franks want to put his kid in as Peter Austin’s deputy.

  4. Mike will do just fine, a breath of fresh air at a time when definaetly needed.

  5. “I’m not Jack Franks”

    It’s a great campaign slogan.

Put it on a yard sign!
