Dems Kill Publication of Dem State Legislator Misdeed(s)

There’s an ethics commission for the Illinois General Assembly.

Really.

It’s basically a killing field for Inspector General reports about colleagues that one part of the other don’t want the public to see.

The most recent negative finding was about a Democrat.

That’s all we know, because to be made public, it must be approved by a majority of the Ethics Commission’s members.

With four coming from each party, guess what happened when the most recent Democrat got in trouble?

The Republicans moved to approve it, but the vote was four to four.

Ties fail.
